With mobile device security become more and more of an issue, companies are trying their best to make unauthorized access into a phone a thing of the past. In the past, some of the most secure methods were multi-factor authentication with either a key fob or software giving out a random number string to use in tandem with your password. This takes out the possibility of someone knowing or guessing your password without also having your fob or access to your software key. The fingerprint readers are very convenient and better than a bad password, but can easily be hacked with a gummy bear (seriously this is a thing!).
It seems like the next thing will be multi-factor face recognition. Apple and Google have been developing smarter levels or face recognition that have been holding up to scrutiny. A team from Wired tried to hack the new iPhone X face recognition system for a month. They even spent thousands of dollars on a latex mask of the person with fake hair, dimples and blemish correct skin, and still could not get into the system! Good news, this password is the best and we have been carrying with us this whole time.
