By far the biggest complaint we receive about OneDrive is the synchronization. You either have to sync the entire OneDrive folder or nothing at all. If you have a 2 or 3GB directory, not a big deal, but if you have a massive document store this quickly slows things down and fills up your computer.
Microsoft has released the OneDrive Next Generation Sync Client to help alleviate the synchronization issues. The new OneDrive client is available on your Office 365 login page, just look for “OneDrive Next Generation Sync Client” and you can update immediately. The new client allows you to select which items you want to sync, so no longer does your computer have to trudge along and sync every document out there.
